Saw the legends last night. Along with Mike Cass being a great player and fitting Ray Price like a glove, Norm did a great job with Merle, as usual. I was amazed at the job Ray Price is still doing with his show. He had an 11 piece band with 4 fiddles. He sang about a dozen songs and not one time did his voice waver. He hasnt lost a thing. Just takes a little longer to get on and off stage. I thought Merle had been having some problems with his voice in the last few years, but it really wasnt evident last night. Willie seemed to be the one most came to see but I think Ray stole the show. These guys wont be out there much longer, especially together. If you get the chance to see them, you wont be dissappointed. I wasnt.

They showed this show on local PBS channel here. It has Asleep At The Wheel with them also.
(of course the camera focused on the guitarist, during Mr Rivers steel solo).
