Hi fellow steelers, I am a new forum memeber and have been viewing for a while now but this is my 1st post. I have always wanted to own an Emmons and I bought an S-10, early 70's push pull from Bobbe Seymour recently. He was great to deal with as always and he included his usual extras, such as strings, videos and wrenches. Also does anyone have info on dating S-10's? The serial# is 1294S. I think it's an early 70's but would like to know for sure. She's a real beauty honey blonde birdseye sunburst, and of course the tone is incredible even with me playing it Laughing Thanks in advance for any info and advice. I am really enjoying the forum and want to get more hooked up to it. Jim Leaman

Welcome aboard, James. This is the best possible place for a steeler to be.

There are plenty of knowledgable P/P owners here, so you'll have your info on that beautiful guitar in no time.

Welcome, James........oh, that guitar. I'm awestruck. That has to be the nicest lacquer Emmons I've seen yet. I haven't seen many steel guitars pull off gold tuners....that one was custom made for them.

Welcome from Illinois.
I also own an Emmons Push-pull, and I hope you enjoy your axe as much as I do mine. Maybe we'll run into each other at some midwestern steel show someday.
