Beautiful condition.$500.00
It has been stored for four years.
Not gigged before that.
Am looking to sell it in West Texas to avoid
shipping.That's where the trouble starts.
Anyone making a drive out of it to Abilene can stay over night if they want to.

I cannot lower the price, but I can do something else.
I need a wood deck patio, and I need to take a window out,and to replace with a glass slider. The problem
is I have no talent with wood. The 2000 is like brand new.I still have my (the twin) a 1000,and a FSKing.
Well,I just might have to keep the 2000.It is to nice of an amp,to put on a truck. My Jackson stayed on the truck for thirty days. There's one good reason why I don't really want to ship it.Anyone around Dallas I could meet half way.
To all pickers. Have a great weekend.

Hi Marvin

I cannot make it to St Louis this year.
I have spent most of August in the hospital
with an infection. It is gone now but walking is pretty slow.I have never been to that one.Maybe next year.I will make the Dallas in March.
How's your learning coming along?
You are probably teaching by now as quick as you are!!!I have the amp stored. It is practically new.
Have a good time at the convention.

Just want to say to all the Forum members that I do not know Bill but I do know the Session 2000 amp as I have one. At $500.00 it's the deal of the century!

In my opinion the "Peavey Session 2000" amp is an all in one amp. The beauty of it all is I do not need to pack around an amp and a bunch of effects as they are built in, plus I can also store playing venues.

In other words no venue is sonically the same and each one needs a certain eg/effects setting. When I have the settings that suit the venue I store the setting along with the venue name and when I go back to that venue all I need to do is recall the venue name and up come the settings. It's perfect!

The sound of the Session 2000 is also unique and unlike other amps I have used. The eq lets me pin point the bell tones in the mid range and get those hurt so good tones.

Just thought I would share my knowledge and experience with the Peavey Session 2000 amp and possibly help someone pondering over the purchase of the amp.

Bill,

Sorry to hear about our illness. I hope all is well.

I have always liked your Session 2000 since you showed it to me 2 years ago. If no one local buys it, I will take it and we can just figure out some way to ship it.

TX is a bit too far to drive over a weekend.

I have two Emmons guitars now, the black Legarande II and now a black P/P D10 8 X 4. 1978.

Hope you are well.

Hi Marvin
Thanks for the kind words.
Does your P/P have a nice sound like everyone talks about?
Does it tune fairly easy?
When I here bobbe S talk about guitars,I get the feeling his love for some of his guitars ,dosn't
match for the feeling he has for his push/pulls.
For certain gigs or recordings the P/P is the sweet one.I have a feeling though, that all of his guitars
have a little bit of that sound.
If your'e ever not satisfied with your sound, you know where to bring it.
How about the Le Grande 11? Nice sound? What are you
usuing for delay,if any?

Bill: I have been doing some thinking over the weekend and if I can get DHL to pick it up at your place and I pay for the shipping we could make a deal? I will have to contact DHL and find out if that is possible if you haven't sold it yet. Thanks

Hi Bill: Have you considered a pro packing/shipping service. It might seem expensive but the deal on the 2000 you are offering would make up the difference.

Bill,

I talked to the Peavey service department and they will just direct ship an empty box to you. You just take the amp and box the Fed x ground or UPS; have them bubble wrap the amp and put it in the shipping box.

Let me know if you want to try this and I will have Peavey send you a box.

Please send me you new address mborn@wbns.com

I have never had anything damaged thru UPS or Fed-Ex.
The Postal Service is a slightly different story.
I Just had a Nash 1000 Shipped from Wisconsin to Florida, and since it weas packaged very good it came to me perfect.
