does anybody know when there is a steel guitar convention in hawaii? i am fairly new to the forum
and would appreciate information on this gathering

The only one that comes to Honolulu is thru www.hsga.org which is in Waikiki every year for $ to attend, with a bi-yearly free to the public show near Waikiki.

You missed the 2007 Hawaiian Steel Guitar convention.
