So, you want to play lap steel, laptop, super slide, console or whatever........?

The new tune on Jerry's Music page of the jerrybyrdfanclub.com site deals specifically with that train whistle affect quite well.

With the proper strings and tone control pot, you can learn to achieve it in just a few minutes.

Give it a listen and see what you can learn.
Take care now.

I asked Marian Hall how she did the train sound.
she said it was volume and a little slide action.

I tried it and it works.

Andy.........I'd check the jerrybyrdfanclub web site if you want to SOUND like Jerry Byrd. I feel the stings he used gave a warm and soothing tone but also a snappy fully sound for single string work. Take a look-see under Jerry's Guitars.
