Last night I walked in to Legends on the Corner and got knocked out by Tom Killen playing with Galen Griffin. How cool. Got a chance to talk with Tom, he is the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet. He gave me a tour of his Sho-Bud Pro II and it is sweet. Made me wish I didn't sell my Bud. The whole band is AAA+++ and real great bunch of guys. Some excellent classic country music the way it's meant to be played mixed in with Galen's outstanding material. Night before I was at the Station Inn and saw the Time Jumpers who were superb in a big way, and spoke with Paul Franklin who is a super nice guy. I'm still blown away. What can I say? Wow I'm a tourist!! Tomorrow night I'm going to see Mel Tillis, the Gatlins and Daryl Singletary at the Opry! What????!! _________________ Zum Encore, Zum Stage One, Fender 2000, Harlan Bros., Multi-Kord, |

Nice Fred. It's a real wake up seeing real country music played in front of you by ace country musicians. Some people have never heard it live. It can be very inspiring. |

You lucky guy!!! I have been to the Opry.....what a kick! The acoustics was wonderful. Whisperin' Bill Anderson, Vince Gill.....oh man...got to back!! I went with the woman that became my current (til the day I die) wife. We went to the Nashville Palace where Randy Travis used to wash dishes...And the honky tonkin'.....what talent there is out there that no one hears!!!!..... |
