Robbie, if you have, or can load, the pics on your hard drive, just look to the above right in the REPLY box. You'll see a button labeled "Upload Picture". Click it and then use the Browse button to select the pic from your hard drive.

When you've highlighted the one you want, click Open. Then click Send. You'll then see your pic in the next box, like a preview. Just click "insert picture". You should see the pic's reference (a line of text) in the Reply Box. If you click the Preview button, you can see the post as it will appear when you finally click the Submit button. When you're all done, click Submit.

If you change your mind after you clicked Submit, just click the Edit button in your post.

I hope I got all that right. Give it a try. Smile

I THOUGHT SOME ONE WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THIS OLD THING GUESS I WAS WRONG, I HAVE HAD IT FOR 26 YEARS AND IT WAS OLD THEN, I GUESS I CAN HANG IT ON THE WALL AND CALL IT A ANTIQUE. HA HA , I ALSO HAVE A FENDER 6 STRING LAP STEEL SERIAL #012, I REALLY DO NOT PLAY LAP STEEL, I LEARNED ON PEDAL STEEL , WAS NEVER TAUGHT TO PLAY LAP.

Less than 24 hours, and you think there's no interest? Give it a chance, Robbie! Smile

Also, would you mind turning off your Caps Lock key? It makes your posts hard to read.

It's a Harlin Multi-Kord. The 6 string version usually sells for about $400-$700 depending on condition. They also made 8 string and twin neck models, which are rarer.

Yours looks to be in good condition, and it still has the plastic covers intact. Most of the covers have disintegrated by now. A word of caution... when you eventually sell it and send it to the buyer remove the covers and pack them separately. Treat them like thin glass. They shatter very easily at their age because all the oil has evaporated out of them. I bought two Multi-Kords about six months ago and BOTH had their covers shatter to pieces in transit.

Yours also has the original cables. Because they were prone to break all the time a lot of owners converted the cables to rods.

Yours seems to have a case in nice condition.

Thanks Alan, that is right in there on what I wanted for it.I wanted $700.00 I told one guy who E-mailed me that i would take $600.00 he offered $550.00 and then never returned any of my E-mail replys, the plastic covers are in good shape, one cig. burn on one of them, the cables are all in good shape except for one it is a little frayed, i will leave it up for a while longer to see if there is any interest. do you think E-bay would be a good idea ???

eBay is where most of them are sold nowadays. There are collectors out there who can't play any instruments at all but sometimes make extravagent bids. Make sure you put a reserve price on it.

The frayed cable is best retied. Even if it doesn't help with the tension it cleans up the appearance.

Remember this, it's the very same type of guitar as pictured on the Buddy Emmons Steel Guitar Jazz album !!
That's Right ain't it ?
If you're selling it on E-Bay then that's an important fact to those potential buyers.

Baz, your humor will be lost on novices.

Buddy Emmons' "Steel Guitar Jazz" did indeed have a Multikord pictured on the cover, but there was no Multikord used in the actual music. The cover picture was a bad decision by an uninformed record company marketing department.

sorry, i did not see the humor, i know it is the truth, i have seen the album cover and that is funny as buddy did not play a multikord on it, i was selling it to replace some lost equipment which i just purchased today, so i guess i really do not need to sell it , i do not think i will ever play it though.(novice ?)
