Rick, they are all beautiful. I wish I could attend to put my bid in and listen to all you great players. Whoever wins these babies are buying a part of the history of steel guitars and Rick Aiello. Great work.

Rick,

You do not need much plugging from any of us for your fine instruments.

They sell themselves as you can see by the various responses.

Keep up the good work.

See ya in Joliet.

Don

Thanks y'all ...

I have strung up the "Long Scale 6" and "Bronzepan" ... with my usual C6/A7 gauges/flatwounds ... cause those will be the ones I play at Joliet.

I stung up the 7 string with the "Half Montee" set ... ... with hopes of getting Ray to try it out ...

I don't play 8 strings myself ... and frankly get "woo-sy" lookin' down at all those strings ... so I strung them up with a big ole "E" at the bottom ... to rumble the Hotel abit ... ... and used pretty standard gauge roundwounds ... so folks could tune to their "favorite channel" ...

Anyway ... Adriel ... I've been "full on marketing" these for over a year ... I just quit taking orders around June ... to build this "New Line".

I have to take advantage of the summer months ... so I poured a bunch ... and finished the ones to show at the convention.

I'm bringin' a "raw" one (freshly cast, no work done at all) to show at the seminar ... along with some other "goodies" for folks to see.

Thanks again for the nice comments ... and a special thanks to Terry Farmer ... the "Father of my Mothers" ...

Rick,

The instruments look magnificent and I'm sure they will sound the same. I'm really looking forward to hearing the story of their design and creation. My hat is off to one who can "pour his own" dustpans.

Good heavens, man! Those are amazing!

I have FOUR -- count 'em -- FOUR gigs happening between tomorrow and Sunday, and again, I cannot make the HSGA convention in Joliet. Oh well... hopefully, I can block out a weekend next year, but playing as a living really sucks somedays.

Those are GORGEOUS, Rick.
