A friend has offered to build me a ten string lap. I need to find a head stock and a tailpiece. Any suggestions. I'm fairly new at this. I love playing but am about as mechanically inclined as a elephant in a mud hole. I have been told it would be better to use a headstock instead of drilling holes and putting in keys. Mainly for tuning benfits. anyway if you got any advice or direction on this you can email me at duganmo@charter.net
Thanks in advance,

If you have a vise, a hack saw, a file, and a drill, you can make a tailpiece from 1/8th inch aluminum stock. Billy
