NICE JOB ANDRE!
I don't blame you for the "buy now" plan!
Now you are required to post up a song on it!

Andre,
Congratulations.
The surprising part is, that you were the only bidder.
That may mean that you were meant to have it.
Let us know how it sounds.
Aloha,
Don

Glad you got something you really wanted. It is a classic steel guitar.
I've always said that if you really want a certain something, buy it.
But be sure to get the Mrs a little something too, as it sure makes playing your new steel so much easier...

Andre, You will never regret buying this guitar. I have several of these pre-war bakelites, but mine all have tone controls, whitch come in handy for different amps. I also have a Frypan with no tone control. I have had a small box with a tone control made to plug into the frypan, so as not to alter the original status of the guitar. It works great, and some times is needed to mellow up the tone a bit. If you are interested in one of these drop me a note and can give you details. I think i paid around $65.00 for mine. What ever you do DO NOT drill any holes to mount a tone control!!! I have seen this done, and it should be a crime! Congratulations.....Marvin |

Marvin, your right it should be a crime! LOL I would love to get one of those boxes. I play a clone of a blackface fender amp and ACE has a lot of trebble with the amp tone knob all the way down. But ACE's have tone controls so when I roll down the tone, it sounds great. I will send you an email. Thanks again and welcome to the forum!
