Hi all,
I'm newbiew here.
I'm an italian ambient-electronic music ... (called deeplistenings).
I'm play an Artisan lap steel guitar (see photo in my site: http://solyaris.altervista.org) and I'm looking for purchasing a simple Gig bag ... (75 (lenght) x 18 (width) x 6 (height) centimeters == 30 (lenght) x 7 (width) x 2.5 (height) inches)
via internet possibly with paypal payment.
Do someone may suggest where purchase this case ?
In Italy and Europe is pretty impossible to found one ?!
thank you for your feedbacks
regards

ciao giorgio. come sta?
I have built lap steels and am always on the look out for bags or cases.
eventually, I will have a friend build me a small hard case. for the time being I use a standard electric guitar gig bag.
yes, it is larger than needed. but they are inexpensive and available everywhere.
giogio, you could try an on line dealer. perhaps Musicians Friend. |

Try a trombone gig bag. You can carry 2 lap steels in one of them since they have 2 padded compartments and they are VERY secure. About $50. |

Giorgio....when I purchased an Artisan from Musicians Friend they included a gig-bag free with the guitar....and it's a good quality item. You might check with them for availability!

I use a rifle case. It cost $10 at the sporting goods store and has a foam lining and hard plastic exterior. Plus it scares liberals! |

Fender (Gretsch) makes one that fit my lap steel very well. It's made for the Gretsch 5700 lap steel. A Fender dealer (Guitar Center) can order it for you. Mine was $40 including tax. |

Thanks Stan,
I got a solution months ago with a gig bag produced by UK company RITTER ( http://www.ritter-bags.com/ ) ... isn't exactly made fo a lap steel but for a kind of portable guitar ...
my poor Artisan 6 strings lap steel fit a bit "strict" but the bug is extra-luxury ...
paid 50 Euro in Italy after two months of waiting ...
thank you anyway for your suggestion
