I have it on both CD and vinyl.

I guess I could burn it, and then ebay the CD.

It's not mint. Gee, I wonder if I could still get $3,000 for it? Wink

Sheesh! Shocked

Mark,

That last copy that Tissue Engineer(TE) sold brought a little over a grand--he told me so. He payes premimum and sells--well...you can see for yourself.

I have been looking for that CD to complete the three MCA set of recordings that Flux made when he was with them.

It's certainly not worth what TE is asking.

At least he's not making any profit on the $47.00 shipping charge....

Prices like that are absolutely ridiculous, but these offers are usually not for music lovers, they are for collectors (which isn't necessarily the same!). I know a couple of people who are collecting early and rare rockabilly - prices of 1,000$ for an obscure single are very common. And the most interesting thing: Some of the collectors don't even listen to the music, it's the possession of this one piece of vinyl that counts for them....

Kind Regards, Walter

I guess it's true...some people do have more money than they do brains! Rolling Eyes

Anyhow, the "street price" for this (supposedly rare) CD is under $100 right now. (And there's no shortage if you know where to look.)

I sold a very limited edition ,1 of 1000, vinyl album produced by a local singer/somgwriter in 1969.. for $750 to a collector from japan on ebay.
It did have some provenance connected to it as
i was at the session and helped to distribute it.
