I would like to take this oppurtunity to express heart-felt congratulations to Mr. Billy Carr on his first Mississippi Steel Players Assosiation's event. It's hard to emagine that much talent in one place on the local level. All the musicians and singers did such an outstanding job. I am proud beyond words just to have been a part of such a grand show. I want to thank Billy for inviting me and the only thing I'm dissapointed in is having to wait so long before it happens again! Thanks again Billy and I had a wonderful time. |

We were very lucky to have both of you, Royce and Tom, on stage. The Emmons sure had a good tone with the XR-16. Lots of folks were impressed with both of you. Thanks to both of you for a job well done. Royce, your neighbor, Danny Harrell is coming in December along with Hal Higgins, so Louisiana will be well represented again, as you and Buck represented the cajun state in style on this one. Thanks for being a part of MSP! |

Royce, I really enjoyed your performance. Wish I had two or more hands like you have. What a show! Execution was flawless. No one we know if in our steel guitar world could have done better, or as good. Thanks for taking us all to the highest level of steel guitar music.
Your fan and friend,
Bill Stafford |
