Oh my...You're Charlie Louvin!

It was shock and awe at the shop on Monday as Charlie Louvin stopped by. I was pretty much struck mute as he bantered about, sang a few tunes as Sonny Louvin called around to try to get new brakes for the bus. Embarassed

Charlie is touring in support of his first studio recording in about a decade. He is supported by the likes of Elvis Costello, George Jones and a bunch of others.

I usually poo poo fame and NEVER as for a photo, but, Charlie is my hero and a legend to boot. Oh, Happy Birthday Charlie. 80 years young.

I'm glad they did that tribute CD a couple year back. I'd forgotten about a lot of his (their) hits. Now when they play him on XM I take notice because I know I'll hear some great country singing. I love to hear him do "Will You Visit Me on Sunday".
