Sierra was only about 14 when that was recorded. Do a search on Sierra Hull on Youtube. There are quite a few to look at. She seems like a really nice, talented young lady.
She's actually a mandolin player. In the same way that Mark O'Conner is just a fiddle player. They play their secondary instruments better than most people play their main instrument.

I first saw Sierra at IBMA about 6 or 7 years ago. Greg Cahill was putting a kids' group together to play on the main stage. Sierra was playing that F-5, looked more like a Super 400 Smile. Greg noticed that there wasn't a guitar player in the group, so he asked if anyone there played guitar. Sierra looked around, nobody else spoke up, so she said,"I do."
