So many wonderful performances and I have lots of pictures that they will be posting on our web site soon and I won't steal any of the thunder by putting them on here with this exception. All of us old timers appreciated Jerry's opening set at The Baldknobbers on sunday . He went back for some of the forgotten classics including Lloyd Green's "Green Blue". Also, Bless his heart, he knows how well I love the Duke Ellinton big band classic "Take The A Train" and how great it is on Pedal Steel. This was the second time I have heard him do it to perfection. I had heard Buddy do it once years ago at Scotty's. If any of you have the video of Buddy and Hal at the Cove , remember Buddy hitting the first six notes of that song as a "fill" in a number they were doing and the cheers that came from the crowd ? Thank you man, I appreciate it so much !! |

Bill, I told Jerry on Sunday that his Legrande sounded wonderful. I think he thought I was kidding, but I wasn't!
I had the pleasure of sitting about 5 feet from him at a jam session last night while he played that same guitar. Wow! Jerry is a super player and the OzarkSGA is thrilled when he plays our show. |

Jerry and Carlene just pulled out of our driveway headed for home. What a joy it was for us to have them in our home. They are such wonderful guests! Jerry got the Branson Show started off great and it stayed in that great direction all the way through. Jerry had such a great sound and his choice of songs were super and he did a SUPER job. Also, here at our house at our jam last night he did a spectacular job! What fun it was! |

Jerry is a great guy as well as a great player. I missed his set at the show, but I got to jam with him Monday night. Jerry gets a great tone out of his LeGrande. That's an Emmons for ya... I'm looking forward to the next time. _________________ www.joshturner.com
