I received this email today, but no photos yet. I would have to see photos to really identify it, but I'm throwing this out in case anybody here knows of a CMW steel guitar.

Hi Brad;
I ran across a triple neck guitar at an antique mall today that I can't get off my mind. I didn't buy it though. It has 3 eight string necks. But the amazing thing about this is, everything appears to be home made and very well. I mean even the pick ups appear to be hand wound, not commercial built. Even the tuning knobs on one neck appear to be cast out of lead. The name plate has the letters "C M W". The matching case appears to also be home built and also has the
"C M W " name plate on it. It appears to have been played a lot. Any information on this or a link would be appreciated. Jim

That's a prototype from the ill fated musical instrument division of BMW, Country Music Works (CMW) Smile
