With great anticipation and delight, the Branson Jam came and went. All the players did a superb job. Thanks Terry, Hank, Mike, and Ann for all the hard work! Several days before the jam, Fred Justice called and asked if we could have a jam at our house on Monday night after the Branson Jam. And what a super time we had on that Monday night. It was like a mini steel show. There were 8 steel guitars! Buck Grantham, Jerry Roller, Mike McGee, Fred Justice, Terry Bethel, Dave Musgrave, Tyler Hall, and myself. Rob Parker played his lead guitar, and Lois Yoakum was the bass player, and Russ Burns was the drummer. The ladies provided delicious food and the fellowship was great. A lot of the conversations were about the wonderful weekend and the 2-day event. There were 18 here and our music room was stuffed with steel guitars and we loved it. All of these people are special friends. Thanks to all of you for coming and thanks, Fred, for suggesting it. Let's do it again next year, OK? |

Jerry, that was a great time. Now tell them who was the last one standing (or sitting on the pacseat). Yep, I found something that I can outdo old Fred on.
Thanks for a wonderful time. Please tell my friend Dave Musgrave how much I enjoyed visiting with him again and hearing him play.
