Do these two steels have a similar sound. I own a Harmos w/a the Jason Lollar Chicago pup & the Chicago pup is supposed to be an updated version of that famous Chicago Valco string thru pup but with out going thru the pickup. I love the sound of my Harmos. It has it's own sound. Very over the top and warm. I supspect most of the tone comes from the pickup. My question is, does anyone own both steels and how are they comparable in terms of tone?

Andre,
I don't know about the harmos. I would love to try one someday.
What is the steel you are playing on your site?

Looks cool!

I have a Harmos Model One with the Chicago PU & I love the sound. It goes from clean to kick-a** smoother that any lap that I have played...the other laps that I play are a '49 & a '51 National Dynamic, and a 40's Oahu Tonemaster. Each of the older laps have different sounds, and I love them, but the Harmos can cover any sound that I want.
