Same year probably, I'm surprised to see that they were still using the old decals. I also have 0084, and they were using the new decal by early 1969. They both sound sweet, though. |

Shawn, welcome aboard and congratualations on owning the best sounding pedal steel ever made. #1077 here (1968). We have a separate ZB discussion thread here. Much advise and information. Yours looks in very good condition. If you ever need adjustable knee levers, parts, or split cases I have them here in Buffalo, N.Y. right accoss the border from Ontario. I work on ZB's. |

Shawn-Welcome to the Steel Guitar Forum. That is a beautiful ZB guitar that you have. I had a beautiful Birdseye ZB D10 about 30+years ago and it sure had a great tone. Enjoy....al. _________________ Michigan (MSGC)Christmas Dinner and Jam on my 80th Birthday.

welcome once again.
I have had a shorter body d11 for a while ( 0839) and recently acquired the longer (fish tail or whatever) (0589) d10.
The longer guitar is giving me better tone but that could be for any number of reasons.
Please follow Kevin's advice and post to the ZB thread and you will more likely get the attention from and information from your fellow enthusiasts.
I'm don't think I'm alone in probably just checking if there are any posts on the ZB thread and leaving it at that.

Welcome Shawn to the wonderful, zany, madcap world of the online ZB enthusiast, or as b0b once referred to us as "those ZB nuts". I hope that I am not misquoting our leader but I swear that I read a post many moons ago where he referred to us as such. The last two times I was sure of something on the Forum I was promptly corrected by the people who were right. I guess that the lesson that Duncan rarely knows what he is talking about.
From the looks of your ZB yours and mine, #0093, are related, at least in color. Yours is still intact as a D-10, but mine has been spayed, or neutered. I'm not sure which it is as I have been unable to determine the sex of my pedal steel at this time.
Anyway, welcome,
Duncan
