Hi. Can anyone tell me about Morrell resophonics? I've a square-neck that's a pretty good little guitar, but information on the web is scant and contradictory -- they're junk, they're great; they're made in Korea, they're US-made.... Will appreciate any information. Thanks.

I have a roundneck that I traded aperfectly good banjo for and it's junk. Specifically the machining on the sound well is SLOPPY and the bridge and cone are cheap crap. However imports are unpredictable and if yours sounds good maybe I just got a lemon.

If this is the same Morrell that does the lap steels, I'd stay away from them. At some point junk is junk no matter how little it costs.
