I downloaded the updates yesterday and it changed the setup. I can no longer scroll with the buttons...A,B,C,D, you have to use the page knob.Has this happened to you? Have you changed it back? If so,how? I had my fav settings together to change with the buttons, now have to turn the knob...bummer!

Thanks..BF

Gain some, lose some. I found that the buttons wore more than the dial, and on my xt one of them ended up sticking a lot. It kept popping down and over. Maybe some crap in there.

I think you can "revert", but I've never done it.

Not Pod-wise anyhow.

I did get a 4 channel up/down switch that lets you switch between ABCD with a footswitch, and hide the whole kidney shaped deal behind my amp, but just after that I got my xt Live, and I like it better.

Bill, I don't know if you can roll-back to the older version. You probably can... but, I can tell you that you may have gained more than you lost:

You'll notice that now, those buttons allow you to do things that you couldn't do before. You can quickly bypass the amplifier emulation, and also toggle the noise filter on and off. Plus one other feature that I can't remember at the moment (EQ)?

I think as part of that upgrade, you also got a 15" speaker emulation, which works well with pedal steel.

I just had to retrain myself to twist the knob to move between channels rather than hit those buttons. No big deal.

My new used xt came up-to-date so I've lost nothing---it is what it is. I can see the advantage of dedicated A-B-C-D buttons but I'm ok with what I've got. Eric--I'm glad to see your post about worn soft keys---my pod has a sticky key (#4) that has me concerned. It solves nothing, knowing that it is not a unique problem, but for some reason it is a comfort. In mine, the key is totally non-functional when I turn the unit on (and I do have a number of patches where I use the button to toggle a preset EQ on/off. But it self-corrects after around 2 minutes. This is on the right side of the unit which gets pretty warm. I presume that it is a sticky switch that loosens up with the heat.
Turns out I am the 4th owner of this unit--something that I don't think any single person had track of in the chain of ownership---so I'm wary of wear issues. Knocking on virtual wood.
