Did anyone see the show today with Faron Young? Faron had his band with Doug Jernigan, but who was Porter's steel player? It looked like a single neck non-pedal.

That was Don Warden. And he played a 2 pedal 8 string Sho~Bud standing up. He left Porter to manage Dolly Parton's career.

If I remember right, Don's two pedals were on the changer end of the guitar also......JH in Va.
