I built the body from Philipine mohoagany pallets and the neck is oak. I made the bridge/tuner assy from brass I silver soldered together. Schaller bridge and tuners. The pick-up is switched from series to parallel by pushing on the vol. knob.[img]

That's an interesting design. What made you decide to put the tuners at the other end of the guitar? How convenient is that for playing?

Thanks for sharing!

Cool & unusual design - I had thought about putting the tuners at the body end when I built my first lap, but then decided not to do it, mainly for looks - how do you like that arrangement?
