I wish I could be there, but it's so far. However, if I had known about this sooner I might have made arrangements to go anyway. As a country music steel guitar fan, I can't think of anywhere better to spend my time than listening to Dicky. Amber is a great singer too. I you attend this show, you're in for a treat. If you don't care for country music, I suggest you stay home.

Very Happy Dicky plays steel guitar like I like to hear it played. If anyone sees Dicky, tell him Keith Hilton will be sending him his new CD--Rockabilly Fever. It is the stuff that came out of Sun Records, but this time with a fast E9th steel guitar behind the singer.

I was in Bandera last month and saw Amber with Dickey at the 11th st bar. Man I was in heaven. Most of the music in my area is starting to drift towards the new country. I went to Texas to see some authhentic country and wow was i happy with what i saw. The night I was there Justin Trevino showed up and Amber and Justin sang a few songs together. Again all I can say is WOW!!!

Dickey has a tone and a style that truly is gorgeous.

I'm going to go see Amber, Dicky, and Justin the next time they play the Grand Ole Opry. Wow, what an imagination I've got. I know, I should have posted this in the humor section.

Dicky is definately the benchmark of what Texas Style Country should sound like. He's #1 in my book and oh did I mention he plays a '66 Emmons bolt-on. My guitar of choice as well. Nick

Going to see Dicky in person is one of the things I want to do. I don't really want to see Dicky at a steel show (I don't know if he even plays them). I want to see him in the live/club gig setting and watch him play whatever they throw at him in whatever key the singer wants it to be.

Nick....You live just up the road from my buddy Frank Arnett (Greenbrier). I bet you know him. He's also one of my favorite players.
