Rick Aiello has just contributed a really nice duet of the classic Hawaiian tune 'Waipio' to the HSGA website. Rick is playing one of his recently finished 'Dustpans' outfitted with his own MRI pickup. Nice playing Rick!

Mike Neer adds a solid, tasteful rhythm guitar on the track.

Chime in Rick... did you guys play this tune facing each other or was this an Internet collaboration?

Rick will be bringing a number of his new guitars to the HSGA Joliet convention this year Oct 13-15, 2005 . Only six weeks away!

That's Mike via email ...

I was just testing out # 007 (the James Bond "Pan") ... before shippin' her out ...

Sorry about the goofs ... I was listenin' when I should of been concentratin' ...

We had some set-backs with the larger versions of the MRI pickup ...

Jason sent the first big bobbins to me in late June ... and ended up doing several different "combinations" ... to get them just right.

As busy as he is ... he worked very hard "tweaking" ... and I really appreciate him taking time away from his "Bread & Butter" to get these done for me.

Thanks Jason ... they are extremely "tasty" ...

Creating something that has never existed before ... ain't easy ...

Very nice, Rick!

Waipio is one of my favorites.

The James Bond pan sounds C L!
