We had our uhual trailor stolen in San Francisco.

Among plenty of other gear, there was a red sho-bud 10-string pedal steel and a Guyatone cream colored fender deluxe-ish lap steel with two pickups and a Sustainiac pickup/driver installed at the 19th fret.

Please call James at 503-522-4090 if you see anything out there resembling these instruments.

thanks

James

So sorry to hear that James. What on earth is going on out there recently, so many instrument thefts. My guess would be drug addicts to quickly pass on the instruments for cash for a quick fix. I don't think musicians would be so unscrouplous as to steel from another musician.

James... I am so-ooo sorry to hear about your loss. Watch the pawn shops and ebay. I have thought for a long time that ebay might be a perfect 'fence' for stolen stuff. What were the circumstances of the burglary? Think about the possibilities of who, what, where, when, how it might've happened, etc. Always a good chance it was an 'inside' job from someone who knew about your instruments and your routine. Please keep us updated...

It has nothing to do with musicians or instruments, it's U-Haul trailers.
There has been a rash of U-Haul trailer thefts(over a dozen so far) in Vegas this year. It's the in target for low life thiefs right now.
