I saw a picture of an LP by Paul Page featuring the Steel Guitar of Jerry Byrd.

Just curious, who was Paul Page? A Hawaiian entertainer? And does anyone know how I could obtain a copy of this album?

Thanks!

Google "images" Paul Page will get you to plenty of info on Paul.

We're talkin' "The Big Island Says Aloha" LP.

Jerry contributes four instrumentals on this one - that's it.
Pua Almeida - backup steel on three tunes.
Bernie Kaai - backup on one.

An O.K. album. Not the "something of a masterpiece" that Richard "Paladin" Boone proclaims it to be in the liner notes.

There was a mint copy on eBay last week. Don't know what it went for.

More money than brains chasing stuff on eBay.
