When I was a teen learning lap steel, I had no one to show me the mechanics, so I tuned the outer neck to E which was most of my playing and had the inner for Aminor. I've gotten back to playing several years ago and learned many things from reading here and asking questions. It seems more logical to have the inside neck E if this is what I use most. The Stringmaster is thicker on the outside so I'm sure the sound is better there. I'm due for newe strings and was considering the switch. Would this confuse me going from neck to neck, or no big deal? Maybe I should swap the old strings and try it and see. Anybody switch necks after a long time?

It's no beeg deal Ron. Just set up your guitar the way you want it. Within a few minutes you'll be used to the new setup. |

I'm thinking to loosen the strings and just swap the tuning pans. Any problem with that plan?
