I have no $take in this, but love the design. My first "Weissenborn" (advertised as such incorrectly in the late eighties, but hey, who knew back then?) turned out to be a Knutsen--it took a year of intensive searching, inquiring and pestering to determine with the label missing--that lends its concept to this modern-day version:

To tell the truch, I don't use the bottom two and top four on the Knutsen as they're hard to keep in tune. The bottom two also slightly impede the bar hand. That said, the middle six make for a great instrument, however.
