More details as they come to me but it's for a friend of mine's uncle here in Portland.
Forum Donation if any sale connected to this, and my personal surety for the man wanting to sell or trade it, of course.
I've played music with his nephew for years.
Tom Baker at Sierra did the setup for him, and he's not in shape to carry it around.
He'd like to get a good solid single neck and some cash, or...
Or sell it and buy one.
Like I said, he's trustworthy, and I"m just seeing if there is anybody interested.
I'll make sure a donation gets paid, as he's agreed to it.

It will probably take til he brings some over to scan. I'm going to call him back on Tues and get all the particulars.
For now I just want to check and see if there is any interest for him.

OK, The pix that were posted on Craigslist have expired, and I'll get some.
It's a D10 with 4 Kls Emmons Setup.
Serial # starts with "81" and the owner said it was IDed as an 81 to him. No model identified on the guitar. Maybe the serial would ID that.
Black with one VERY small probably un noticeable bar ding between the necks.
The case is a beat up one that they just put it in. Nothing special.
He will take 1600, and is more interested in getting the BEST Single neck 4kl Steel as a trade. Much "extra cash" isn't going to find him the quality S10 he is looking for. Shipping etc is going to be easily set up and negotiated I'm sure. He's not a dealer. Just a straight up older guy that can't lug around a D10 Sierra to the gigs with his friends any more.
He's also interested in a Nvl112 type amp, but I'm thinking of getting him into my 112 for about half retail.
I'll get the pix, and forward a number for him if anybody is interested.
He WILL tender a proper donation to the forum, and has a good reputation.
I'll get pictures, as it's just that the craigslist ones have expired, and he'll have to email me some.
