Go to Musurgia.com and search there for Rickenbacher.
They have a couple of early day Fry Pans and B-6's, as well.

One of the Bakelites is $1,900; the other, about $1,250. That's right up there, eh?

I remember back in the late 40s , early 50s I could have bought any number of fry pans and 6 string bakelite Rickenbachers for $25.00 to $30.oo or $40.oo bucks !! The hock shops were full of 6 string steels !! Nobody wanted them , everybody was buying D-8 Fenders !! Who would have thought !!! Eddie "C" ( the old geezer )

My first lap steel was a Fender Champ that someone gave to me for free. I had it for about a year and then sold it to a local music store for $30. That was around 1971. I remember when almost any used lap steel could be bought for under $50.

Of course, we have to adjust for inflation.
$50 in 1971 money is equal to $256.73 in 2007 money, according to this <b>Inflation Calculator</b> Wink

Back in the early 1970's I went into a pawn shop in Corpus Christi, Texas. They had a whole rack of various models of Gibson jazz guitars that nobody wanted. I don't think any of them were marked at over $500.
