HIGH MAINTENANCE MAN features a McKinney lap steel with a string through pickup (think Supro Supreme) plugged into a 61 Gibson Maestro Amp. There's also a Telecaster through a 53 Deluxe, a Fender P Bass, Taylor Acoustic, Hammond Organ and Tama drums.
Warning: this song contains vocals.

The page with zippy graphics and file embedded is here.
The MP3 is here.

The sound is excellent and this would be a perfect tune for a TV show. It sounds similar to a TV show of years ago. I beleive the show was.

Mr. Secret Agent Man implying a detective show and that show ran for years and starred Richard Jansen Rick you are innovative. Go for it.

edit for correction.

As always, great job Rick. The lap stands out nice.

It is also nice to know that you are admitting your faults and dealing with them through music.

That is the first part of healing... Evil Twisted

Thanks guys, I had a lot of fun doing it.

C'mon G-man, it could be about the maintenance man getting high on paint fumes.
Or it could be a guy talking to another guy about a gold-digger chick - ie: "She's high maintenance, man"!"
But, we both know it's not.
Truth is my wife calls me that sometimes . .

Fun tune, I liked it! Do I hear more than a little trace of The Yardbirds in the chorus? Wink

Thanks Steinar!
Yep - and Paul Revere & The Raiders, The Monkees, Johnny Rivers.
They all should have had a lap steel player in their band.
