One beautiful CD ....
From Bruce Clarke ...
quote: Over his last few years he was asking me to clean up & release on CD "Nani Hawaii" (or as it was released out here (On The Shores Of Waikiki") - the first of his collaborations with real Hawaiian musicians: Danny Kuaana & his Islanders.
I have now completed the set & will shortly release it as a tribute to JB.
Also ... there is a Andy Iona "special" goin' on this month ...

our special budget priced "Andy Iona Top-up" ( Vols 7, 8, 9, 10 plus a bonus Steelology - 5 CDs for the price of three) will disappear when our next release goes up on site later this month. From there on in they'll only be available as a 10 X CD set with a bonus Steelology or as fully priced single CDs. |

Hey Rick,
I've been meaning to pick up a few of these CDs. There's too much to choose from!
Anyway, the prices listed are in Australian dollars right? What's the shipping and handling? How much are you in for when you buy one CD?

Today ... 1 AUD = 0.767195 USD
So 27.50 AUD = 21.0979 USD
I think overseas airmail was about 11 AUD ... can't remember exactly ??
So 1 CD is about $29.54 USD ... delivered.

You should also note that Cumquat has a "buy four, get the fifth one free" offer. That helps keep the cost down a little bit.
The CDs are definitely worth getting. A lot of the material is pretty rare. Bruce has done a great job on the sound restoration.
I especially liked the Sol Hoopii collection, "Radio Sol". Except for one tune, the recordings aren't available anywhere else. It's fascinating contrasting these recordings with earlier version of the same tunes.

Exactly ...
Having all 10 Andy Iona's ... different versions of some of his favorite songs ... played over the years ...
Just fascinating to listen to ...
