I just heard about this new amp and it really looks great. When do you think we'll be able to get 'em?

The promo stuff touts classic rock tones. Will this be a good low volume clean guitar amp? Will this be the Blues Jr. killer?

I'd guess that they might start shipping after the NAMM show in Austin.
That'll be somewhere around July 19-21.

Looks like it might be Peavey's answer to the Vox AC30---Lower wattage, class"A"---Put me down for one---At least to try out!

I just sold my Blues Jr. It had enough clean juice for low volume, drummerless gigs on guitar, but I never did like the clean tone. Maybe this is the non-solid state answer.

You'll probably see a review or two on this amp in some of the major guitar mags and we will be offering info as well. Thanks for the interest.

Sounds very interesting. Solid state rectifier, I guess. It would be really interesting in head form (driving a 1x15 cab), but that's probably too much to ask at least at first. It will be a nice sibling for the excellent Classic 30/Delta Blues as a "grab and go" amp for small venues and recording. The temptation to keep swapping tubes will be hard to resist... Smile

From the specifications (note that this is a single ended class A amp with automatic biasing using a single power tube) it looks a lot more like Peavey is doing a chinese built low cost version of the THD Univalve. That's a great amp to emulate.
