I'm converting an import SWR (LA15) bass amp (circuit board apparently blowed up real good) into a 15" cabinet. (Electronics gutted; using reconed 80s Eminence.)

I've got the jack with the three terminals. Which two do I use? Which connects to + and which to - on the speaker?

Hi Ben,

In a single speaker situation, which wire goes to positive and which wire goes to negative doesn’t matter. You just need to figure out which lug connects to the body of the jack and which one connects to the spring gizmo that contacts the tip of your input cord’s jack and run wires from those lugs to the speaker terminals. If it’s a grounding type Switchcraft jack, that will be the outer lugs. Hope this cryptic description helps!
