My son gave me a Morley Bad Horsie pedal to try. I only played with for a few minutes. My first question, is this effect compatible with steel guitar? The second question, any suggestions how to incorporate it with my playing? Is it primarily for R&R? I have a digital delay and thought about trying them together. Thanks, Ron

I don't know why you couldn't use it or anything else, if you want to. The only problem I can see would be taking your right foot off the volume pedal to use it but if you have no problem with that and hear a place to use it, why not?

My first thought was exactly that, trading off the volume pedal. In order to use the Morley, you need constant pressure.

Added this:
I did some playing with it, cool sound. A song like Apache lends itself to it.
