Steel Guitar in or near Athens, Georgia?

Hi all,

I'm a six-string lap steel player out of Brooklyn. I'm about to go down to Athens, GA, to visit family and do some gigs and recording...I would love to get a lesson from somebody while I'm there. Specifically, I would love to find a sacred steel player somewhere in the area, but if anyone knows (or is) a good country lap or dobro player, that would be great as well.

If Mark Van Allen is feeling better he might be your bet- lives a little bit out of town but gives great lessons that will keep you busy for a while.
