I wanted to drop a plug for some really great folks at the Hoe Down Theater in Eureka Springs Arkansas. Not only do they put on a great show, but they are great friends of mine. Eddie Snow just blew me away this weekend when I visited with them. This man can pick now. You owe it to yourself to go and see their show. If you are traveling and go to Branson remember that Eureka is just a short drive south. Some really good talent on stage there. Here is a link to their web site for any information you may want to know about. Trust me you'll love it.

Thanks Robert, that was very nice of you to say. It was good to see you again. I know the hoedown crew appreciates the plug you gave us. Your playin' on the songs on your myspace page sounds great. Great sounding band. Hope to see more forum members at the hoedown in Eureka this season. Anyone that does make it to the Hoedown this year please come down and introduce yourself, it's always nice to meet other forum members. Eddie Snow

Eddie has alway been one of my favorite players, I used to go see him when I spent years in Branson with Mandrell. He also bought one of my favorite and best sounding Emmons too. A nicer guy you won 't find and he was a great player back then so he could only have gotten better.

Yep Cookie. You hit the nail on the head. There is a ton of talent on that stage between Randal and Eddie. Not to mention all the rest. I only wish I could get back more often than I do. It's a blast. Thanks for your kind words about my music on myspace Eddie. I sure enjoyed picking with those guys. I wish some time I could turn the clock back and know then what I know now. Rod would still be with us I can promise you that. Your playing was second to none this weekend my friend. My wife even said some great things about your playing. You can pin a feather in your hat for that one!!!!

Thanks alot guys. Thats very nice of you to say. And Cookie, that means alot to me coming from you. We did have some fun times in Branson. That emmons I got from you still plays better than anything I ever sat behind. I will be playin' that guitar as long as I can still sit behind it. Sure would like to get down and hear you play again, maybe this winter I can get away for a few days and come down your way. We are playin' six nights a week at the hoedown theater in Eureka Springs until mid November. I'd like to invite everyone to come see our show this season. Eddie
