My first solo CD has just been released.
It's called: THE LAST TRAIN
I had Mike auldridge play Dobro on 5-6 tracks and all I can say is WOW!....Yes, I suppose there are "flashier", younger players around nowdays...but for my 2 cents.....Mike reamains as the most soulful, tasty player alive!

Also, after 25+ years of working as a studio musician for a LOT of other artists myself, I can honestly say that I've never enjoyed working in the studio with anyone more than I did with Mike. His Talent is awesome,( yes...capital "T"), his humor infectious and his suggestions invaluable!

( I Also, had my old friend & former bandmate Bill Keith for a banjo track, Arlo Guthrie on Guitar, and a bunch of other great "A team" pickers.

I play pedal steel in Arlo's band, but chose to not play any on pedal steel on this CD.....I just wanted to do a bluegrass record....the next one will have plenty of pedal steel.

There is a link from my website to cdbaby where you can listen to some "clips" from the album.....(it's also on iTunes).
