the sonic stomp is more of a psycho acoustic 'blanket off the amp' type pedal... for clean boost where you can add drive and adjust tone... the sparkle drive is a really solid good sounding pedal.

whoops sorry! meant to reply not start a topic! in response to this...
Has anybody tried this pedal? I'm lookin for a pedal for my Tele, a 2 or 3 button EQ for tone, and also one that will boost my volume to a clean tone with the first push of a button, then boost to a slightly dirty or distortion tone with another push of the button.(or seperate buttons)
Will this pedal do that? If not, is there a pedal that will. Don't want to spend over $75-$100. Thanks
Terry

Thanks Randy. I saw one on Ebay, might bid on it.
I listened to the sound bite, and that's just about what I'm lookin for.
Would this pedal work on steel for that light distortion sound?

yeah, the sparkle drive is very good because you can dial the distortion to be light and you can use it as a volume bump. I use it on my telecaster for solos for a slight volume boost and to add a little 'hair' to the tone. |
