This past sunday (6/17) 1 to 5 pm . Way to go guys !!! Best one yet !! Great member participation and well planned and handled. Everyone got in more playing time and I heard several good comments on the improved format. Hank Ruf is doing a great job and works well with Terry Bethel in the planning of things.
Was really surprised and pleased to see our friends from nearby Bella Vista show up--Lila and Vance Monday. We used to live right next to each other in adjoining counties in Iowa years ago but never seemed to get the right connections to meet until we both moved to Arkansas. Austin is getting plumb "scary" --and on both necks now too !! Jack Musgrave bought in the LDG he recently restored-- sounds as good as it looks, Jack---great job !! Wonderful back up band again this time -- Jackie Wilson on Bass---Adam Guidry on drums--Marvin Bredemeier on fiddle and David Bennett on keybord. Terry Bethel showed up and lended support when I know he didn't really feel like being there. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Plans are fast being made for the upcoming saturday and sunday event the last weekend in July-- need info ? try our web site www.ozarksteelguitar.com Watch Hank's posts here and plan on attending any and all events--come often--set deep---you're amoung freinds.
