Aw you asking about the cross rods or the pull rods?
The cross rods are 3/8 inch drill rod, available in any industrial hardware store. _________________ Please visit my web site and Soundcloud page and listen to the music posted there.

The pull rods are 1/8" (.125") stainless steel, and the thread size is 5-40. The cross rods are 3/8" (.375") solid stainless steel, and I don't think you'll ever break one of them!

The pull rods are 1/8th inch, stainless, with a 5-40 thread. I bought some, and a 5-40 die from McMaster-Carr thru their website. _________________ Best regards,

Unless its a Classic SS, then the pull rods are 1/8" Aluminum. Have you had problems with pull rods breaking? I've owned and played lots of pedal steels and never broke a pull rod. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |
