I didn't even know there was a Chesapeake in Maryland... oh, well. Anybody in the area, I'm playing the... uh... the... oh, man... oh, the heck with it.

The DelMarVa Chicken Festival??? Yes, it's for real:

Hi Mike I checked the schedule and you are going on at 8:00 p.m. Saturday night. If you arrive early, I will be performing from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. with Stephanie Iverson. Would be a treat to meet and talk a little shop with you. I have to be out of there by 4:00 p.m. to play another gig in Georgetown, Md at the Granary. Hope to get see you there. Wayne Tyler

I can't believe it! The DelMarVa Chicken Festival with Mikey D and Wayne T on the same day... & I have to miss it. Crying or Very sad & I would really like to meet you Mike... a great wit and opinionated too! Not to slight Wayne, but I see him all the time, he has a great touch!
I have the night off but will be at the Doug Jernigan show in Newark Del. at U of Del .. not to be confused with Cluk U.
Eat more chikken !!

Wayne, it was great to get to meet you and chat a bit; wish I had arrived in time to get a chance to really hear you. Hope your next gig of the night went well. We got back around 11 this morning... and I really don't want any more chicken for a few days!!
