Hey everyone, I'll be in Nashville this weekend for two big events.
What a thrill to be in town to hear Mel and Statesiders at the Nashville Palace June 8 and then again on the Opry and at ET's June 9. Mel becomes an official member of the GOO 6/9. Spectacular!!
Only to cap it off being a part of the steel guitar feature on Sunday June 10 with Kayton at the CMHOF. This is my second year doing this spotlight with Kayton and I'm flattered and excited. So come on out but come early to get a seat, last time it was standing room only!
Ya'll come on out and join me at these great events. I'd love to visit with ya. _________________ Miss Lana

Miss Lana, there are not many times I miss being in Gnashville but this week is one of them. Have a great time. Tell them Statesiders hello from an old Statesider in Texas. _________________ Johnny "Dumplin" Cox

Well folks, I'm finally back in this atmosphere after the awesome weekend I had in Nashville. Meeting so many great people/players/and supporters of steel guitar.
What a treat to finally meet Steve Hinson. WOW! And to hear him live on the GOO was just fantastic. Steve you sounded so good! Just made my day. I'll be in touch!!
And Ronnie, it was so good to finally meet you. You too were great Saturday night. Of course Ronnie and I got to sit back and enjoy the performance at the Nashville Palace Friday night. Those Statesiders were hot all weekend and so nice of them to let Mel join in - HA!
Truly Mel is a fine entertainer and gentleman to boot. He loves the steel guitar and is a big supporter.
Hey Tommy - it was really cool to hang out with you for a tad backstage. You're one in a million my friend.
Now Kayton was really cookin' Sunday at the CMHOF. Another packed room. Folks from all over the world were in town and the exhibition room was just as diverse. People of all ages turned out for a lesson from Kayton. Thanks Kayton for letting me be a part of your show.
But a special thanks to Terry Bethel, the Statesider Band, and Mr. Mel Tillis for allowing me to share his special weekend. I am truly honored to have been included in such a monumental milestone with a true country legend. Or should I say legends?
Thanks to everyone who showed up to support this extravagant weekend. It's one I'll never forget! _________________ Miss Lana
