Here's a live recording from a recent concert at the world famous music venue 'The Ark' in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I play my 1947 Rickenbacker Bakelite through my Vox DA5 battery powered amp. The amp is mic'ed through the house sound system.
I'm backed by the hot young band 'Steppin In It' and members of the Lost World String Band.
Here's Sol Hoopii's tune 'Weave A Lei' done in a funky Midwest jugband gut bucket swing style.

Wow!
That sounded great Gerald. You've got a great feel in your playing, and the tone is just beautiful!
Wish I could've been there. |

Hi Gerald,
Good tune. I like the overdriven sound of that little amp. The Sol Hoopii story is funny!
