This amp really is great a low volume just
like they said. Now i'm finally able to
practice my lap steel (neophyte 2yrs playing)
and sound decent.

I love mine as well. Brad Bechtel had some nice things to say about it a while back.

Yeah, those new Les Paul Junior amps are just about perfect for the kind of lap steel I play. If I needed another amp, I'd probably get one of these.

They look pretty cool and everyone knows I like the vintage look but at $599.00 for a five watt amp seems really high. My Steel King is a monster to that for less than $100.00 more.

My Micro Cube was $99.00 and I use it everyday. I bought a second one just in case.

The new class A, 5 watt Epiphone Valve Series Junior ... is only $119.

I have an Epiphone Electar (all tube 10 watt)... that I got for around $100 new (on Ebay). Its a pretty cool little tube amp.

I'm gonna pick up the 5 watt Epiphone ... I'm a sucker for small amps ...

Heya Rick, I just got one of the Epi Valve Special amps, the bigger version of the little one. Not bad at all, $150.

You are right about the Micro Cube Gary. There were quite a few at the Aloha Steel Guitar convention. I bought one in Hawaii, used it about every day, and still using it with the same batteries since new. The thing is sure easy on batteries. Bobby Ingano used one on stage at the convention- miked thru the PA system, sounded great.

Perhaps someone can start a post about how they like their new guitar, so I can chime in to let them know how much I think they overpaid for it.

Glad you like the amp, Don. Gary, Rick, Keith, James, and Bill, I'm glad you like the amps you have.

Thanks John ... I do like my amps.

I just ordered the Epiphone Monday ... so I can't comment on it yet.
