Greetings everyone! I am a new member though I have been reading the posts for a while now. I am a guitar picker who wants to take up PSG for pure enjoyment. Anyways, I recently acquired two PSGs in one day. The first was what I believe is a 6139 w/tone control. It appears to have never been altered though it is in need of a new finish. It is a 3/1.
The second is more elusive to me. It is a D10 (8/5) that was acquired by the previous owner from Nashville Music 10-15 years ago. It has a straight tuning head and straight front panel. I will post some pictures so I can get a handle on what I have when I figure out how.
I know nothing as yet about playing but look very much forward to my new girlfriend! Thanks for your help. Tom

It's a Sho-Bud SuperPro. It looks like its been refinished...it doesn't look like a standard Bud finish, the inlay is unique for a Bud, it's missing the SuperPro decal on the front apron. And I believe the Sho-Bud decal would've been white if this was the original finish.
Nice gtr...I've got one, myself. The 6139 is a keeper, btw. |

The single neck is a Baldwin distributed ,1967-8 made at the Dickerson road Sho-Bud factory.
And by the way, the "Super-Pro" above it doesn't have inlay, it is a decal that looks like inlay , just stuck on the outside of the finish.

This Super-Pro could still be a great guitar, I don't want to sound like I'm bashing it, cuz I'm not.
