This duo stopped by and spent the nite ... on their way to The Augusta Heritage Festival ...

They were met by my girls doin' the Hula to Bobby Music ... all I heard all day was ... "where's Gano".

What a treat ...

First, Doug taught my oldest ... Ellie ... to rope and gave her a lariat ...

Then they treated us to a private show ... right in my basement.

Wow ...

I had Bobby's new Dustpan waiting for him ... but he actually preferred to play #003 (first batch with an H-Shoe Pickup)...

I didn't have a set of H-shoes that size, nor a seven string bobbin ... so it'll be awhile till he gets his now.

He said that #003 sounded more "old school" and that was what his ears preferred ...

And as with everyone who has heard it ... both guys were very fond of my A25.

Anyway ... it was such a pleasure ... thanks for crusin' over !!!!

I'll put photos of the new Dustpans and Bronzepan up ... later on today.

Has anyone, at anytime ever seen Bobby playing steel without that BIG smile on his face ? Most of us struggle through with faces that look as though we just came from our best friends' funeral !
