I am curious, pursuant to a question asked me by a new Carter owner. Can changing the copedent be construed as something that would void the warranty?
It seems to me that such activity would be within the scope of normal usage.
Experience with other steel manufacturers regarding this? _________________ Those that say don't know; those that know don't say.--Buddy Emmons |

I can't imagine any manufacturer complaining about changing a copedent. Heck, that's like putting new tires on your car, or installing a new CD player.
Now, modifications, or actual changes to the design would be a different matter. A quick phone call would settle any doubt, though. _________________ Best regards,

Hell no - one of the things that Carter and many others claim in their sales pitch is "the ease of changing setup" !! It is a desirable feature to have in a guitar. |
